Accredited Supplier : Carbon Trust
And the good news keeps coming…. Scenariio are delighted to announce that we have recently been appointed as a Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier. Scenariio’s ethos is to help build a more sustainable society, and to develop long-term business success. We believe our appointment by the Carbon Trust helps us achieve economic, environmental and social responsibilities as a supplier.
The Carbon Trust is a world-leading organisation helping businesses, governments and the public sector to accelerate the move to a sustainable, low-carbon economy through carbon reduction, energy-saving strategies, and commercialising low-carbon technologies.
Being accredited by the Carbon Trust demonstrates Scenariio’s ability to provide sustainable and cost effective solutions to customers in the form of the smartengine Intelligent LED Lighting solution. Rob Pritchard, Operations Director of Scenariio says “The accreditation process was a challenging process to complete. Being recognised by The Carbon Trust scheme gives our customers the confidence and reassurance that the solutions we offer can provide real energy savings that lead to a reduced carbon footprint and cost-savings”.
The Carbon Trust commented, “The Carbon Trust’s Accredited Supplier scheme aims to make it easy for organisations to find suppliers who have demonstrated their success in delivering sustainable, low carbon solutions in what is a crowded and fast-growing market. The team at Scenariio have demonstrated their competency in delivering high quality, low energy lighting solutions which meet the expectations of the scheme and we are pleased to welcome them.”
The smartengine system works by deploying low voltage LED lighting over your building’s structured cable network that is controlled by a meshed network of sensors. This not only offers up to 85% energy savings but also removes the requirement of running high voltage 240V power cables for your lighting. To find out more, visit the dedicated page on our website.
How can this help our customers?
Not only does the scheme offer the reassurance that our solutions can deliver the energy savings stated, it opens up the ‘Green Business Fund’ to our customers.
Funding of up to £10,000 can be used by SMEs, if they meet the requirements set in Carbon Trust Green Business Fund, and if eligible this can help with the implementation costs when deploying energy saving technology such as SmartEngine.
Further information about the Green Business Fund can be found on the Carbon Trust website, which includes the full details of how to apply.
