We’ve been busy behind the scenes
We may appear to have been a little bit quiet online in the last couple of months, there is a good reason for this. Since our second visit to the EDIE 2017 show in April, in which a review will follow shortly, we have been working behind the scenes to ensure that the business continues to function safely, efficiently and to our absolutely best ability.
It is with great pleasure that we can announce that firstly, for the third consecutive year, we have successfully gained our ISO 9001 accreditation. This was certified following an audit in June from Interface NRM. The audit was a simple process thanks to our online platform to centrally manage our documents, policies and procedures.
ISO certification is based on quality management principles including strong customer focus, motivation and implication of top management, the process approach, and continual improvement and review. The goal is to ensure customers receive consistently high quality service and being ISO certified means our customers can have confidence we are committed to quality and outstanding customer service.

Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including SMEs and FTSE 100 companies.
Scenariio’s re-application for SafeContractor accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business. This is the second year we have been awarded this leading accreditation. SafeContractor accreditation enhances the company’s ability to win new contracts, and its commitment to safety will be viewed positively by its insurers when the company liability policy is up for renewal.
Gemma Archibald, Director of Alcumus SafeContractor said: “Major organisations simply cannot afford to run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies in place.”

Scenariio have also been successful in gaining its accreditation with Constructionline.
ConstructionLine is a Government-run scheme, which collects, assesses and monitors your standard company information. It is the largest pre-qualification database in the UK and the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service.
This accreditation now exposes Scenariio’s services to over 8,000 potential buyers within the UK’s construction industry, who can be assured in the fact that Scenariio meet the government standards for suppliers. Having an accreditation like Constructionline assures our customers and potential buyers that we are a Company they can trust. It also strengthens our management system and allows us to achieve greater results in both sales and operations.
Scenariio are approved for work in the following categories: lighting systems, emergency lighting, CCTV systems, data cabling, A/V installation, fibre optic installation and communication systems.
Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier
On the subject of our products, Scenariio are pleased to announced our retained position as a Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier for our smartengine intelligent LED lighting solution.
This award is an independent verification of the company’s track record in saving energy by providing energy-efficient LED lighting to its customers. Scenariio has therefore continued to one of businesses in the United Kingdom who have a certified and committed, drive to reduce energy consumption for companies through the installation of highly-efficient, smart, LED lighting.
This means that Scenariio customers now have access to an attractive and accessible support package to help small and medium sized companies identify energy saving opportunities and install energy efficient equipment in their business.
This includes a 30% financial contribution towards the cost of your energy saving equipment, up to £10,000. The contribution is available to small and medium sized businesses for projects that comply with the requirements of the fund.
Delivery of projects funded through the Green Business Fund is limited to Carbon Trust Accredited Suppliers. Scenariio are accredited, meaning the company has met or exceeded Carbon Trust criteria designed to examine capability and track record of delivery.
Being awarded Accredited Supplier status by the Carbon Trust means that our customers can trust us to exceed their expectations when choosing a compressed air system built on the best-in-class Atlas Copco product range.
